🗒️ Scriptlet shelter
Writing is hard. Sometimes you start something and can't finish it. Other times you don't have a good idea. Why not leave your idea to the shelter for someone else to adopt?
All scripts with the [scriptlet-shelter] tag will show up here, and you are free to use it as a starting point for your own writing. (Scripts should also be publicly listed and not password protected. Your profile does not have to be public, but note that it will be linked here.)
If provided, please follow the writer's instructions for how to credit them. If they don't leave instructions, the general rule is to credit them as the starting point and yourself for the rest.

M4F She didn't know why anyone would prefer any of the other X-Men. As far as she was concerned, Dr. McCoy was the triple threat: brains, brawn AND beauty. Now if she could only convince him. written by elephantschild1979

A4A Saber-Tooth Neko + Ancient Person Listener; I couldn't quite place what I didn't like about this one, I think it's that the Speaker has a really selective lexicon, and I'm not sure if it fits the character. Oh well, do what you will with this. written by SplashiestPig

FF4M the elf who wants to study with her crush, and the tomboyish orc who has no shame in taking him from her, and the poor listener caught in between the fire fight. written by gosendimensions

A4A A draft I abandoned about a listener who is a pretty typical Private Eye Investigator, except an otherworldly entity has taken up watching them. This entity, (the speaker) narrates the listener's investigations and occasionally interferes. This narration is completely abnormal for the world, and when questioned about it, the narrator does his best to deny the concept and stop further questions. This process is aggravating to witness, but the listener's eldritch influences often help them solve impossible cases, so people are forced to put up with it. The main conceit this script was building up to was a confrontation where the mayor character refuses to drop the fact that the real listener is talking, and outside of them another voice is speaking, until eventually the narrator gets annoyed, tells the truth, and politely demands she stop. written by SplashiestPig

F4M Time has passed and it almost seems like you did nothing but sit and watch. Your only company are the same old soap-operas you grew up on, the adopted pets around your home, and the christmas cards from your family of which you haven’t seen in a long time. Last week you got the news that your nephew is coming to town, and needs a place to stay for a few days until he finds somewhere to get settled. You really want to make sure he considers staying with you… written by gosendimensions

A4A A script about a tough, bodyguard, black-bear Demi-human, who's about to go into hibernation. The listener, a close friend, is here to help them prepare. This one wanted to be a lot of things, and I think I missed all of them, but I was already 700 words in, and I theoretically had a path to an ending mapped out (my notes on which are included at the bottom), so I wanted to do something with it. Then I remember Scriplet Shelter exists and thought, hey, why not? So just as always, please; enjoy, finish, take inspiration from, ignore, read, taste, whatever you'd like. written by SplashiestPig
